Two suspected robbers shot, two arrested following Jet Park robbery
Police are still looking for the remaining suspects.
Two suspected robbers were reportedly shot and taken to the hospital, while two others were arrested following a business robbery on Yaldwyn Road in Jet Park on September 18.
Although details surrounding the incident remain sketchy at this stage, information gathered at the scene suggests that an unknown number of suspects held up staff members at around 11:40.
The suspects allegedly loaded stock into vehicles and also stole a delivery vehicle from the premises.
Authorities later intercepted the delivery vehicle on Estee Ackerman Street, and a shootout ensued.
Two of the suspects were allegedly shot and transported to the hospital, while two others were arrested.
At the time the Boksburg Advertiser was on scene, police and various security companies were still actively searching for the remaining suspects.
The business owner declined to comment but said that this was not the first time the business had been targeted.
The Advertiser is still awaiting official comment from the police.
