Bollywood style fundraiser makes a difference

Connect to Feed raised funds through a Bollywood-themed evening in Boksburg to support 300 Thembisa families with winter hampers.

The Connect to Feed Foundation recently hosted a vibrant Bollywood Night at Classic India Boksburg, drawing over 130 guests for an evening of music, dancing and community support.

Sponsored by Classic India owner Manish Gupta, the fundraiser supported the foundation’s upcoming outreach in Thembisa, which aims to help about 300 families with winter hampers.

“The event was a huge success. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make the night so special,” said Connect to Feed founder Upama Srivastava.

Guests let loose on the dance floor, celebrating with joyful Bollywood moves at the Connect to Feed Bollywood Night fundraiser in Boksburg.

Team member Jharna Dixit said the foundation’s impact across communities inspired her involvement.

“We don’t choose people, we support those who need us at that time. We go wherever help is needed,” said Dixit.

Gupta said it was an honour to contribute to the cause.

“It’s a privilege to support Connect to Feed. We’re proud to help raise funds and uplift those in need,” he said.
