Local pre-school takes top award

Groentjies Preschool has been honoured at the recent 16th Annual Play-with-a-Purpose Awards for their outstanding achievement in early childhood education.
The preschool, which runs the Play-with-a-Purpose programme, received the Model Preschool Award for 2024 from Play with a Purpose Educational Trust.
The Awards and Sponsors Banquet Evening, sponsored by Tsogo Sun Hotels, and Silverstar Casino, recognised educators and preschools from across South Africa who have demonstrated excellence in implementing the Play-with-a-Purpose approach and early childhood development (ECD) philosophy through their social franchise business model.
