Members of the public are welcome to attend and support their favourite teams as the young athletes showcase their netball skills and techniques.
The South African Schools Netball (SASN)’s highly anticipated 2025 All Ages Tournament kicked off this morning (June 30) at Hoërskool Dr EG Jansen in Boksburg, following an official opening ceremony held yesterday afternoon.
All nine provinces have sent their teams, at least two or three per age group, ranging from U12 to U16, to battle it out for top honours on the court.
The three-day interprovincial event got underway at 08:00 today and is expected to conclude around 13:00 on Wednesday, July 2, with a prize-giving ceremony and the crowning of the champions.

The tournament features 28 teams, with players representing Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Western Cape, Limpopo, North West, KwaZulu-Natal, Northern Cape, Free State and Eastern Cape, along with three guest teams from neighbouring Namibia.
The best players from the tournament will be selected to form the national team that will represent South Africa at the upcoming international competition in Swaziland at the end of August.

Teams arrived on Sunday, and the high-energy opening ceremony created an electrifying atmosphere filled with cheering, dancing and singing. It was a true celebration of school netball.
This event marks the culmination of a rigorous selection journey that began at grassroots level and advanced through area, district and regional stages. In total, more than 15 000 schools have been represented across the competition process.
As the teams began arriving in Boksburg ahead of the highly anticipated tournament, SASN President Di Woolley took us through the road to national team selection in this exclusive video: [VIDEO].
