Four injured in head-on collision
A woman was left in a critical condition and three others sustained moderate injuries, when two vehicles collided head-on, on Station Road, on Tuesday.

Paramedics arrived on scene to find both vehicles in the middle of a intersection, both of them badly damaged.
Four patients were found on scene.
One woman sustained severe head and leg injuries, while the occupants of the second vehicle sustained moderate injuries, including leg and back injuries.
Emergency workers set about treating the various patients. Special care had to be taken to remove the critically injured woman from the mangled vehicle, before she could be treated.
Once freed, advanced life support was performed on the patient, before she was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further treatment.
Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
