Drug dealer drops his cocaine stash

A suspected drug dealer dropped a plastic bag containing cocaine on Saturday night, last week, while being pursued by Brakpan police.

Sgt Jaco Olivier and reservist Const Allan Chatman saw the suspicious-looking man walking along Kingsway Avenue at about 7pm, and approached him.

The man immediately started running and dropped the bag.

The police gave chase, but the man evaded capture.

The bag contained 924g of uncut cocaine, with a street value estimated at R350 000.
