Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend (August 29, 30 and 31):

Friday

A gold Toyota Corolla was stolen from First Avenue, Vulcania.

Burglars stole a television set from a home along Etosha Avenue, Dalpark.

A laptop was stolen during a burglary at an address along Henderson Street, Brakpan North.

A home along Touwsrivier Street, Leachville, was burgled of a television set.

Saturday

Two burglaries were reported along Kipling Crescent, Dalpark.

Television sets, game consoles, jewellery and other household items were taken during the break-ins, which took place between 7.30pm and 11.20pm.

A red BMW, a television set, laptop and jewellery were stolen during a burglary at a home along Nash Crescent, Brakpan North.

Sunday

A car parked at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Cavendish Street was broken into.

The vehicle’s radio and R500 was stolen.

Two businesses were burgled.

Tools were stolen from a company along Uranium Road, Vulcania, and cash was stolen from a tavern along Wenden Avenue.
