Minnebron resident sees strange object in the sky

A 24-year-old Brakpan resident was totally intrigued when he saw a strange and fast-moving light in the sky on Saturday evening.

Donavon Brinton arrived at his home in Minnebron at 9.45pm. As he was on his way into his house he heard loud music from a party.

“I tried to look over the wall, because I was curious, when a light from the sky caught my eye,” he said.

Donavon told the Herald that he works at the airport as a stock controller and that he knew immediately that it couldn’t be an aeroplane.

“I didn’t hear any sound coming from it and I doubt it was a comet, because it had no tail,” he added

He was cautious about what exactly he thought he saw, but did not rule out the fact that it could have been an UFO.

“This might sound crazy, but what I think I saw might be an UFO,” he said.

He also managed to capture the moment on his cellphone. Watch the video here.

When the Herald asked Donavon for his opinion of UFOs, he replied that he believes we are not the only intelligent life in the universe, and that there might be a possibility that “they” do come to Earth and have done for years.

It seems that Donavon is not the only person who saw the strange light which happened to appear on an evening when many people were celebrating Halloween.

Several people all over the world took to social media to share their experiences about what is probably the same occurrence.

According to the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) twitter account, a dead comet did fly past Earth on October 31, and it even resembled a skull.

“I don’t want to put people into a panic frenzy, I would just like to see what their ideas and thoughts are on what it could be,” Donavon said.

Did he maybe see the dead comet, or is there a chance that it could have been something else?
