Join the SPCA for Christmas carols

Animal lovers are invited to join the Brakpan SPCA for an evening of Christmas cheer, carols and fun, tomorrow (Saturday, December 12).

It is hoped the Carols by Candlelight event will help toraise funds to assist in taking care of the abandoned and unwanted animals that will be spending Christmas at the society.

Visitors are encouraged to wear their Christmas hats and to bring along chairs or blankets.

Refreshments will be on sale.

The event will be held from 7pm to 8.30pm, at the Brakpan Garden Centre, which is situated at the corner of Van der Walt and Dirk van der Hoff streets, Dalview.

Donations of cat food will be gratefully received.
