Ekurhuleni to cement relations with informal businesses

The conference will also give business owners an opportunity to give feedback.

In efforts to improve compliance and strengthen the relationship between the municipality and traders, the City of Ekurhuleni will hold a two-day conference on June 8 and 9 on Informal Trade and Street Trading at the Germiston City Hall.

Invited traders across Ekurhuleni will be presented with the City’s policy aimed at fostering cooperation between street traders, corporates, informal and formal businesses as well as other state departments.

The conference will also give business owners an opportunity to give feedback on the policy.
