The summit is set to help equip artists with skills to better manage their craft.

Art is more than just about portraits and canvases. For most artists it is their bread and butter.

The City of Ekurhuleni will today (Thursday) host the second annual Art Business Summit aimed at instilling business skills and artistic vision among young emerging and established artists from across the City.

The summit is set to help equip artists with skills to better manage their craft to make it marketable and turn into an income.

They will be exposed to industry experts who will teach them about the tricks of business and profitability in the arts sector.
