Break-ins:

• Ajax Road, in Dalview.

Stolen: A television set, two tablets and a laptop.

• Kirschner Road, in Withok.

Stolen: Tools and batteries.

• Victoria Avenue.

Stolen: Two television sets, a DVD player, games console, tablet, laptop and a safe containing a firearm.

Other:

• A car parked at an address along Mynhardt Avenue, in Minnebron, was broken into, on Sunday.

A toolbox, batteries, a switchboard telephone and two cordless phones were stolen.

• A spaza shop in Hewit Street, Brakpan North, was robbed by two men, yesterday (Monday).

The robbers entered the shop at 3pm and threatened the shop’s owner and her daughter with a gun.

The men fled with R30, chocolates, cigarettes, airtime and two cellphones.

• A man was assaulted and robbed of his cellphone at the corner of Station Road and Stoffberg Avenue, yesterday.

The victim was confronted by a gang of six men at around 6pm, one of whom attacked him with a hammer.

• A security guard on duty at a construction company along Denne Road, in Witpoortjie, was robbed of his cellphone by three robbers, last night.

The robbers overpowered the guard at around 9.30pm and bound him with shoelaces.

They took two cellphones – a company phone and one belonging to the victim.

The robbers then attempted to steal a solar panel, but were unsuccessful and fled.
