
• Friday – Two homes were burgled.
TVs, jewellery and other valuables were stolen from homes along Afrikaner Road in Dalview and Scott Crescent in Brenthurst.
• Saturday – An orange Ford Ranger bakkie was stolen from Mall@Carnival.
* Two vehicles parked at an address along Colliery Road in Sunair Park were broken into.
Cash, a toolbox and a car radio were stolen.
* A woman was robbed of her handbag in the parking lot at Mall@Carnival.
The victim parked her car at around 1.30pm and was walking to the entrance when a lone thief grabbed the bag from her arm.
Cash, an iPhone and a pair of spectacles were among the bag’s contents.
* A wallet containing cash, bank cards and a driver’s licence was stolen from a car parked at an address along Lower Road in Sunair Park.
* Three men robbed a Brenthurst resident in his Scott Crescent home.
The men broke into the house at around 1.30am and tied up the resident with electrical cables and the belt of a gown.
They ransacked the house taking TVs, laptops, cellphones, cash and jewellery.
• Sunday – A DVD player, TV, gaming console and items of furniture were stolen from a residence along Kingsway Avenue.
Other cases:
• Tuesday – A kitchen scale, kettle and a backpack were stolen from a business along Hastings Avenue.
* A storeroom at a Prince George Avenue property was burgled of tools, extension cords and batteries (not specified).
• Wednesday – A vacant house along Collins Street in Brenthurst was broken into.
Taps, copper pipes, a gate motor and other fixtures were stolen.
• Thursday – A red Lifan Rs200 motorcycle was stolen from Stoffberg Avenue.
