The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (November 21 to 22):

Cases reported:

• Residential burglary: 1
• Fraud: 1
• Malicious damage to property: 1
• Selling medicine without a licence: 1
• Theft of motor vehicle: 1
• Speeding: 6
• Theft: 2
• Shoplifting: 2
• Receiving stolen property: 1
• Business robbery: 1

Arrests:

• Speeding: 12
• Possession of stolen property: 1
• Receiving stolen property: 2
• Shoplifting: 2
• Contravention of Medicines and Related Substances Act: 1

Business robbery:

• Four men robbed a business in Lemmer Road, Maryvlei, yesterday afternoon (Wednesday).

The incident took place at about 4.30pm and the gang fled with cash and cellphones.

Burglary:

• Mans Street, Withok Estates.

The break-in took place on Sunday.

Stolen: Tools.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A motorbike was stolen from an address along Livingstone Avenue on Tuesday.
