The EMPD Tracing Unit has been commended for the arrest of two men on multiple charges.
The men, aged 27 and 28, were nabbed at an address long Khothavhushika Street in Tsakane Extension Eight on Tuesday morning.
One suspect was arrested for possession of three unlicensed firearms with ammunition and two car registration plates.
Housebreaking implements, hand gloves, balaclavas and an access card to an upmarket housing estate identifying the suspect as a gardener were also uncovered.

The other suspect was arrested for possession of substances believed to be drugs.
The arrests were a result of a swift response to a tip-off received from members of the community.
Tsakane Police Station commander Col Johannes Maass welcomed and congratulated the good work by the EMPD Tracing Unit members.
“He also commended the community for always being prepared to provide information about illegal activities taking place in the area,” said EMPD spokesperson Chief Supt Wilfred Kgasago.
The seized suspected drugs, as well as the recovered firearms and other items were booked in at the Tsakane Police Station.
