The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (March 18 to 19):

Cases reported:

• Common assault: 2
• Business burglary: 2
• Tampering with infrastructure: 1
• Theft: 2
• Theft from motor vehicle: 1
• Residential burglary: 1
• Fraud: 3
• Crimen injuria: 1

Arrests:

• Theft: 1
• Illegal immigrant: 1
• Traffic offence: 1

Burglary:

• Greer Street, Vulcania (business).

The burglary occurred on Friday.

Stolen: Tools and steel.

• Station Road (business).

The break-in took place on Saturday.

Stolen: Laptops and other valuables.

• Waterval Road, Leachville.

The home was burgled yesterday (Monday).

Stolen: A TV.

Theft from motor vehicle:

• On Sunday, tyres and mags were stolen from a car parked along Rossouw Crescent in Minnebron.

The car was also broken into and vehicle diagnostic equipment was stolen.
