Mrs Diva Mom held a meet-and-greet on October 4 at the Deo Volente venue in Withok Estates, to inspire mothers of the East Rand to celebrate themselves and join the Diva Mom platform to do good.

The pageant, only in its second year, aims to empower mothers, so they can do and be more for their families and for themselves.

Through stage presence, body language, and public speaking coaching, they can achieve a more confident version of themselves.

Simultaneously, they will have to select a cause or charity to get involved in, which they will then support and promote throughout the competition period and beyond.

The meet-and-greet was an opportunity for the women thinking of entering to learn more about the pageant, about what participating can do for them, and be inspired by past winners and runners-up of this and other pageants.

After each guest speaker had a turn, all were invited back to the microphone for a question-and-answer session.
