Metro ignores potential health hazard

Lucky Kgeletsane from Brakpan North writes: I would like to request that you publish the bad service and the disrespectful nature of the authorities at the Brakpan Municipality.

They outsourced a contractor to install pipes for some water project.

The contractor dug a huge hole next to my residential gate, along Nash Street, and left it open.

It has been almost two months since this hole has been left open; I have made several calls to the Customer Care Centre and no one seems to be able to assist in this regard.

My biggest concern is that the rains are coming and this hole will soon be filled with water and will be a huge health hazard.

To whom do I turn, as I seem to have been ignored?

The neighbours are also complaining.
