Ever since this new bin story has come in, it has been a complete nightmare.
We have a field in front of our house and we have never had any dumping of rubbish in the field (there were two or three bags).
Early on in the week, we had a guy from the municipality come and cut the grass in the field.
Needless to say, he didn’t give two hoots.
He drove ever so nicely over the bags, leaving rubbish scattered all over the field.
Now I want to know, who is going to clean his mess?
Should I do it then send my account to the municipality, or will they come and clean it?
We have people scratching in bins, and even though they didn’t make a mess when the black bags were out, what will happen now?
The pick-up trucks made a mess with the black bags, so I now wonder what our streets will look like after they have picked up the rubbish using only these bins?
I would like an answer published in the Herald, telling me how this issue will be resolved and who will clean this mess in front of my house.
