Laura Kirsten, PRO for Hospice East Rand, writes: During 2015, Hospice East Rand received much help from the East Rand community.
Assistance came in the form of generous donations to our various charity shops, financial donations, product provisions and support at our various functions, which included fêtes, golf days, day trips to the theatre, a tour, a comedy show, a cycle race, many raffles and the like.
Our Hospice Day Care that operates every Wednesday at Hospice East Rand is also extremely grateful to the following churches and individuals who faithfully provide the tastiest meals on a rotation basis: Baptist Church (Benoni), CWL Benoni, Church of Christ (Benoni),Church of the Way (Benoni), Hellenic Ladies Committee of Benoni, Nederduitse Hervormde Kerk Benoryn, NG Kerk Benoni, NG Kerk Kempton Park as well as Celia Loubser and Dawn Wakefield.
We are enormously thankful to the East Rand community.
