Fed up with noise and neglect in Victoria Street

It seems as if no one cares.

Concerned resident writes by email:

We have a bit of a crisis in Victoria Street where people drink outside in the open during the early morning hours.

There is also someone who continuously revs their car and hoots.

They are disturbing the peace and have no consideration whatsoever for anyone.

They leave their empty beer bottles on the pavement, which then get smashed by drunk passersby, who also have no consideration.

They probably have children, but don’t care if their children trip and fall into the broken, dirty glass.

In addition, on the corner of Victoria Street and Prince George Avenue, the municipality has left cut tree branches on the pavement, which looks like a rubbish dump.

It seems as if no one cares.

How can we live with this filth?

Please, something must be done about this matter.

It’s disgusting.
