Local dragsters in the running for top national spots

At the recent fifth and penultimate round of the Drag Nationals, held at the Tarlton International Raceway, Elise and Wouter both took first place in their respective classes for the first time.

Elise now leads her Super Street Class or legal street cars running between 11 and 14 seconds category, while Wouter is securely in third position in the national points standings in the Competition Eliminator category.

With a 21 points difference between first and third place in his championship, it will go down to the wire for Wouter in the final round on October 25.
