The final prestigious Junior Tennis Tournament (Liza Marchand’s Tennis Tournament) for the 2017 season was played at the Dalview Tennis Club on November 11.

The final prestigious Junior Tennis Tournament (Liza Marchand’s Tennis Tournament) for the 2017 season was played at the Dalview Tennis Club on Sunday.

The competition catered to junior tennis players from all across Ekurhuleni from the u-6 age group right up to the u-18 age group who have at least had some playing experience and some tennis coaching.

There was terrific parental involvement and much enjoyment at the tourney.

Tennis coach at the Dalview Tennis Club, Liza Marchand said that there were around 40 junior tennis players taking part on the day.

“Dalview Tennis Club is the last tennis facility in Brakpan and we need these junior tournaments to help keep this great sport alive in the town,” she said.

She encouraged anybody interested in playing tennis to get in touch with her.

For more information on tennis at the club, contact Lisa Marchand on 082 897 1823.
