The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children is observed annually from November 25 to December 10.
To coincide with this and with the aim of raising awareness about how sport can reduce violence and crime, the Brakpan SAPS Youth Prevention Crime Desk hosted a Sports Against Crime Tournament at the Charl Baard Stadium on Saturday.

The tournament featured teams from u-10 all the way to the open division.
With teams from all over town taking part, the Youth Prevention Crime Desk thanked them for getting involved in the effort to raise awareness about violence.
