Golf day for legend

The Hendrik Horn Golf Day, hosted by the Brakpan Rugby Club, will be held tomorrow (Saturday).

The golf day will be a fund-raiser for legendary Brakpan star Hendrik Horn who played in the Currie Cup final back in 1972.

The former player has seen his health deteriorate in recent times and the club is looking to raise funds to help with his medical bills.

Horn had an illustrious playing career for both Brakpan and Valke in the 1970s and today he is part of the managerial committee at the club.
