Carletonville Ext 9 resident hijacked after men ask for lift

A 24-year-old man was allegedly hijacked in Jacobs Street after three men approached him and asked for a lift to town.

A resident of Carletonville Ext 9 became the victim of hijackers this week.

This crime took place on August 5.

The man (24) was about to pull out of his yard in Jacobs Street at 12:30. Three unknown men approached him and asked whether he could give them a lift to town.

Suddenly two of them jumped into the resident’s car, a white Hyundai with a Zimbabwe registration number.

One of the thugs immediately grabbed the keys.

The driver jumped out and ran away.

The thugs fled with his car, which was still missing at printing time.
