A 24-year-old man from Khutsong South was killed this week following an incident on October 4.

Police reports indicate that the man allegedly stabbed another resident earlier.

Following the stabbing, the victim returned home to gather several friends before heading to the suspect’s house at around 10:00.

An argument quickly broke out between the group and the alleged attacker. As the confrontation intensified, the men assaulted the suspect, who tragically died at the scene.

Carletonville detectives have launched an investigation into the incident and have successfully arrested four men in connection with the murder.
