A family in Kokosi suffered a terrifying ordeal this week after a masked intruder broke into their home in Ext 3 in the early hours of October 4.

At around 03:45, the father (50) was jolted awake by the screams of his daughter (17).

He rushed to her bedroom, where he encountered a shirtless stranger.

The intruder immediately fled through an open door. Although the father gave chase, he was unable to catch the suspect.

When the father returned to the house, his daughter explained that the man had appeared beside her bed, began touching and undressing her, and threatened to kill her if she screamed.

Despite the threat, she screamed, prompting the attacker to grab her cellphone and money before he ran away.
