Two sisters claim victory

VEREENIGING. – Nikita Duarttee (15) was crowned as the 2016 South African Powerboat F30 Champion at the annual PSA (Powerboat South Africa) prize giving in Benoni.

VEREENIGING. – Nikita Duarttee (15) was crowned as the 2016 South African Powerboat F30 Champion at the annual PSA (Powerboat South Africa) prize giving in Benoni.

The new 2016/2017 season started on September 24 and 25 at the Free State Powerboat Festival in Parys. She dominated all three heats in her pink number 1 boat, claiming vicotory in all three, as well as overall first position for the weekend’s results.
Zuanè Brouwer (17), a Grade 11 learner of Vereeniging Gymnasium had a few setbacks in the previous season. She started this event in her new white and pink nr 7 boat and finished overall third for the weekend.
The two sisters celebrated a first and third podium position for the first leg of the South African F30 Championships. They would like to thank H20 Performance Marine & Mr Price Sport for the sponsorship.
The second round will take place on October 30 at Hartebeespoortdam.
