The West Rand cluster commander, Maj.-Gen. Anna Mateisi awarded certificates to police stations in the West
Rand cluster for their achievements in the past year. The recognition was also for overall performance during
the 2016/2017 financial year. Among the stations that performed well were Carletonville, Fochville, Kagiso, Khutsong, Krugersdorp, Randfontein, Tarlton and Westonaria. In the end, however, it was the Khutsong station commander, Col Melinda Prinsloo who accepted the honours for the best overall station. Khutsong was the best performer in the entire Gauteng Province. ‘These stations are performing well despite the challenges they face daily. Keep up the standard. You inspire others to reach the same level. Thank you for your efforts in ensuring good service to our communities,’ Mateisi said.
