Thugs strike substation

Criminals are continuing to target our area’s electrical infrastructure.

The latest incident took place at the Pluto substation at De Pan between Carletonville and the N14 on Thursday 19 October.

A security guard at the facility was busy with patrols at approximately 22:30. He noticed four unknown Sotho men laying in the long grass.

The guard realized that there was trouble and turned around and started running away. The thugs immediately ran after the guard and managed to catch him.
