A BREAKFAST, with informative guest speakers, was held on Tuesday, September 19 at Golden Falls Spur, Columbine Square, Suideroord (one of the sponsors), for the Seniors on the Go group.

Organised by Michelle Pelser (Mondeor CPF Precinct), with assistance from Cindy Morujao and Joy Boswell and sponsored by Sasol Service Station Columbine Avenue, the spring breakfast was enjoyed by over 100 senior citizens.

Guest speakers included Farida Taaka from City of Joburg Social Development, Manesh Nagar and Gladness Dube from MNI products, Pretash Jivan from Himalaya who spoke about Mentat products, and advocate Pumeza Futshane speaking about the criminal justice system. Entertainment was enjoyed with singer Jon Delinger who wowed the seniors with his wonderful songs.

LEARNING: Listening to the guest speakers, the seniors learnt a few valuable lessons.

“These mornings are becoming more and more popular and only seniors who have pre-booked will be able to attend from now on and only those who reside within the Mondeor precinct. The next breakfast will be taking place on Tuesday, November 21 and bookings will be taken two weeks prior to this,” said Michelle.

Pre-bookings can be made from the end of October by calling Michelle on 084 292 9144 or Joy on 084 526 5857.
