Skyworth donates TV to United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa
Orphans get a new TV.
SKYWORTH donated a 40-inch Android TV to children at the United Cerebral Palsy Association of South Africa (UCPA) on June 7.
UCPA is an organisation based in Townsview which caters for orphans since 1951. The organisation depends on donations to sustain itself and be able to accommodate the orphans.
Skyworth marketing director Leo Liao said they always look for ways to uplift the community.
“We’re always happy to give back to the community, especially to an extremely worthy cause, such as this one. The work the UCPA is doing is absolutely incredible, and if there’s anything we can do to help improve the children’s’ quality of life, even if it’s in a small way, then that’s amazing,” said Liao.
Mark Paterson from UCPA said, “Support from big companies like Skyworth are greatly appreciated. The children are so excited about their amazing new TV, and the party just added that extra element of delight and surprise.”
