Wheelchairs donated for disabled and elderly

Amitofo Care Centre donated brand new 47 wheelchairs to the disabled and elderly in Ward 57 and other places.

Ward 57 councillor Faeeza Chame thanked the centre for changing lives and also councillor Michael Sun for organising the wheelchairs.

“A big thank you to our sponsors. Making a difference in someone’s life must be a natural thing to do,” she said.

“When you go to our local hospitals and clinics there’s always a problem or issues with wheelchairs, and sometimes the elderly have to wait outside for a wheelchair.”

She also wished the matriculants of 2021 good luck with the final examinations.
