For its winter edition, Paper Magazine gave itself one assignment: Break The Internet.

“There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian…” said the magazine.

French photographer Jean-Paul Goude was later approached to take photographs of Kardashian West to recreate his “Champagne Incident” picture.

This picture involved a woman popping a bottle of champagne, with the liquid flying over her head into a glass balancing on her backside.

Kardashian made headlines about a year ago when she posted a post-baby photo on Instagram, flaunting her backside.

The reality TV star was criticised for being a bad example for her daughter North by the public, after posting the picture.

She covered her “assets” for the April cover of US Vogue with husband Kanye West, as the #WorldsMostTalkedAboutCouple. The magazine reportedly sold about 500 000 copies.
