A fight that no one wanted is going ahead tonight between rapper Cassper Nyovest and a podcaster who goes by the name Slik Talk.

Slik Talk is known for being an vocal critic of Cassper’s music and business moves, and Cassper eventually grew tired of the podcaster’s constant criticism, calling it cyberbullying, and calling Slik Talk a “fame chaser”.

The rapper figured that a boxing match is the best way to end this back and forth. The fight has been aptly titled Fame vs Clout.

Cassper has been showing off his boxing skills online, posting videos of himself practising. He hopes Slik Talk pitches up, even after he signed the contract agreement and says the podcaster still has time to drop out.

Where can you watch Cassper Nyovest’s boxing match?

The fight will be streamed live on YouTube from Cassper Nyovest’s channel from 9pm, Wednesday, 22 December.

If Slik Talk wins the fight he will walk away with R100,000. Cassper was disappointed that there wasn’t a press conference and weigh-ins leading up to the fight, claiming Slik Talk didn’t want it.

“He denied all of it. Says he doesn’t want interviews cause nobody gave him a shot. I swear this kid is not well, I wouldn’t be shocked if he doesn’t show up today. We’ll have to wait and see. If he does show up though, I’m definitely gonna knock him out,” he tweeted.

Cassper has one goal for the fight, a knockout. “Today is the day I get to knock someone out for talking shit on the internet! I can’t f**king wait to meet you in the ring Silk Talk! Ima f**k you up on behalf of all the keyboard warriors and you Cyber Bullies.”

Many people have called this stunt embarrassing especially for Cassper,s but Slik Talk has supporters due to his reasons for accepting the bout, which is paying for his varsity fees.
