Paul Walker deemed ‘dead on arrival’
First responders declared Paul Walker and his friend Roger Rodas ''dead on arrival'' when they got to the site of his tragic death on Saturday.

Paul Walker was deemed ”dead on arrival” when emergency responders first got to the site of his fatal car crash.
The Fast & Furious actor and pal Roger Rodas lost their lives in a tragic accident in Santa Clarita, California, on Saturday and according to a dispatch recording obtained by TMZ, the 40-year-old star was almost immediately declared dead.
Firefighters arrived at the fiery scene within four minutes of a 911 called being placed about the accident and one of the responders told dispatch officials there were ”two fatalities” and added the victims were ”DOA”, which stands for dead on arrival.
The fireman also alerted law enforcement the accident was a ”Code N” situation – the distinction given to events that could be newsworthy and should be handled with care.
Earlier this week, coroners ruled that Paul’s death was the result of both the impact of the crash and severe burns obtained during the subsequent explosion.
The coroner said in a statement: ”[Paul died from the] combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries.”
Meanwhile, Paul’s friend Roger, who had been driving the vehicle when it crashed, died of ”multiple traumatic injuries”.
Universal Pictures confirmed this week it would donate a proceed of profits from the DVD release of Paul’s last film, Fast & Furious 6, to his charity Reach Out Worldwid
