WATCH: Ntando Duma tears up as her kiddies salon dream comes true

Ntando has extended her business empire with another exciting business venture for kids. She had a successful launch this past weekend.

Actress and TV presenter Ntando Duma has launched another business venture. This weekend, the award-winning actress officially opened her kiddies salon in Sandton named Sibahle Siyakhula Kids Salon.

She shared that the business idea was inspired by her daughter, Sbahle Msizi.

The 27-year-old actress first announced on Instagram earlier this year that she was set to open a kiddies salon.

“I’m so ECSTATIC and PROUD to announce the opening of my first kiddies salon. My dream of so many years finally becomes a reality. Named and inspired by its namesake, my precious daughter @sbahlemzizi and on a mission to provide niche and bespoke hairdressing services to tiny tots and young people,” she wrote.

Ntando’s emotional speech

In a video shared by the entertainment blogger Phil Mphela on Twitter, Ntando is seen crying as she gives a speech at the event.

Ntando said she is grateful for everyone that came to support her.

“My heart is so full of gratitude at this moment. I am crying because I cannot believe that this is happening. I have had this dream or vision for three years, and believe me you, it was actually Sbahle’s idea, and obviously, I had to make it a reality for myself, her future, and everyone that’s supporting me today,” she said.

Other business ventures

In 2019, Ntando announced that she was venturing into a food and delivery business called Spaza Eats.

The business was meant to give spaza shops and restaurants, mainly in the township, a platform to have their food services available on the App for orders.

“I have honestly been trying to find the right words to express this and still haven’t found one, but THIS IS JUST IT!🙏🏾♥️ Super grateful, Blessed, and READY Kindly support our movement @spazaeats,” Ntando wrote on Instagram.

According to the information on the food app, Spaza Eats aims to help local catering and restaurant businesses expand their client’s business and cover their area in demand.

It also promotes local food and cuisines, and makes food delivery technology accessible to everyone.

“Whether you are looking to achieve specific health goals, follow a particular diet, or want a conveniently healthy meal solution, we have a range of products to suit your unique needs,” the app explains.
