Hip Hop star Reason enrages Christians

Rapper/musician Reason has received backlash over a picture he posted depicting Jesus Christ wearing sunglasses and carrying two naked women.

The rapper expected to offend a lot of people and even apologised in advance via his Facebook page yesterday, saying: “I’m gonna offend a lot of you by the end of day. Apologies in advance.

It appears he is planning on revealing even more of his “truths” as promised in his post, “at 1pm on Friday the 24th of July, I will present to you a few new truths.

Not YOUR truth. Not THE truth. But A truth. MY truth,” he said in the post below.

ReasonThis is a build up to a new freestyle he plans to release on Friday.

Reason, however, is not the first musician to incorporate religious depictions in his music. Artist and producer Kanye West named his sixth studio album, Yeezus, released on June 18, 2013, by Def Jam Recordings. The title was met with contempt from the Christian community, with many saying West was comparing himself to Jesus Christ.

The Christian community is enraged about his depiction of Jesus, holding two naked women on his shoulders and wearing sunglasses.
