The series, Survivor South Africa: Champions, which is due to premier of Sunday 19 January, will feature sporting legends Mark Fish and Corne Krige. The pair is set to lead two tribes through the trials and travails of a life on a deserted island.

According to reports the series is being filmed on a remote island in the South China Sea.
Amongst the 20 contestants taking part are wedding planner and former Sharks Academy player Zavion Kotze, Khayelitsha-born astrophysics student Sivu Xabanisa and a conqueror of Mount Kilimanjaro and karate blackbelter Killarney Jones.
