Large potholes are causing problems for motorists at the corner of Linton Jones and Brammer roads.
Kobus Swanepoel brought the matter to the attention of the GCN.
He said: “The potholes at this corner are not only dangerous for drivers on the road, but can also cause a lot of damage to people’s vehicles.”
He told the GCN that he had contacted the metro a number of times, but that nothing had been done about the matter.
The metro was asked for comment on the matter and Themba Gadebe, from the department of communications and brand management, said: “The potholes at the corner of Lynton Jones and Brammer roads will be repaired within the next week.
“We must emphasise that we rely on the public to inform us when they spot potholes.”
