Goods galore at driveway sale

The Avril Elizabeth Home will be holding a Driveway Sale on December 2.

The event promises to have something for everyone and will take place from 9am to 2pm at the home, situated at 11 Castor Road, Fishers’ Hill.

Stalls will include books, second-hand goods, toys, Christmas stocking fillers, delicious edibles and all sorts of pickles.

Cold drinks and pancakes will be on sale to keep you nourished while shopping.

The home is appealing to the community to come along and support the event as the profit from sales on the day will be used to make the residents’ Christmas season very special.

In the past the home has received generous donations, especially for its Christmas Day celebrations.

This has been on the decline due to the economic climate, and therefore, the home is appealing for any contributions, which will be greatly appreciated.
