Great masters athletics this Saturday

Ansie Hennop, from the Gauteng North Athletics team, competed in the Central Gauteng Masters Athletics Championships women’s 50-54 years weight throw, at a previous event.

Athletics fans are in for a treat this Saturday when the Central Gauteng Masters Athletics Championships takes to the track and field at Germiston Stadium.

The event kicks off at 7.30am.

Athletics fans can look forward to a day packed with athletes performing at their best.

There will be lots of action on the track from the 5 000m walk to 80m hurdles and on the field with shot put, hammer throw and much more.
