Residents of Elsburg are up in arms over a large hole that can only be described as a hazard.
The residents’ concerns were brought to the GCN’s attention on September 3, by Myrtle Botha, a resident whose car was damaged by a huge pile of unmarked sand left in Botha Street overnight.
The major concern is that the large hole and the accompanying sand have no safety barriers or safety markings of any kind to warn the public that it is there.
