Crime Prevention Youth Desk has talent
Crime Prevention Youth Desk members show of their talents.
The Primrose police Crime Prevention Youth Desk team recently gathered at a church in the Makause informal settlement run by Pastor Elias Mokoena to enjoy a day of fun, as members of the youth desk showed off their talents.
The members of the youth desk were invited to showcase their talents, by either singing in a gospel choir, presenting a drama production, reciting or writing poetry or submitting sketches.
The day also served to raise awareness and to appeal to other youth in the area to come and join the youth desk.
The youth desk members meet every Monday at the Primrose Police Station in Poppy Road, at 5pm.
The primary objective of the group is to raise awareness in the community and help the youth in the community stay away from a life of crime.
