While officers were on a recent patrol of the Primrose area they noticed a motorcyclist driving along the wrong side of the road.
They attempted to stop him, but he ignored them and sped away.
The officers gave chase and, after several minutes, managed to corner the man.
They started to question the driver, and immediately noticed a strong smell of alcohol and that the man’s eyes were bloodshot.
“The man could barely talk and could not explain to officers why he was driving in the on-coming traffic’s lane,” said Sgt Styles Maome communications officer for the Primrose police.
He was arrested and taken to the Primrose Police Station.
