Stage one load shedding to take effect from 12pm
Eskom urges consumers to use electricity sparingly.
Eskom has continued to struggle to keep the lights on with stage two being implemented from 07am until 12pm.
This will be followed by stage one load shedding, implemented from 12pm to 10pm this evening.
Maintenance has been named the main contributing factor to this weekend’s load shedding.
