A man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a collision last Saturday.
The crash took place on Kraft Road in Primrose and involved a motor vehicle and motorcycle.
“Netcare 911 paramedics arrived on the scene and found a man lying on the road and accident debris lying all over the road,” said Santi Steinmann, media liaison officer for Netcare 911.
“Reports from the scene indicated that a motorcycle and motor vehicle collided head-on.
“However, exact details surrounding the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.”
Upon assessment of the motorcyclist, paramedics found the man to be in a critical condition.
The injured man was treated on the scene and rushed to hospital for the urgent medical care he required, under the constant care of advanced life support paramedics.
The occupants of the motor vehicle were not injured during the accident.
