While detectives from the Primrose Police Station were taking case dockets to Germiston recently, they witnessed a smash-and-grab. The attack took place on the corner of Shamrock and Pretoria roads.

A man was allegedly attacked by two men in Oak Avenue, recently. “The men are believed to be community patrollers,” explained Sgt Styles Maome, communications officer for the Primrose police.

A woman and her children were left traumatised after a robbery at their Hazeldene home, last Friday. Pine Pienaar, the vice-chairman for the Lambton Klip Sector Four CPF, told the GCN that the robbery took place in Edwardian Street at about 6.55pm.

Almost four years ago the ashes of Jeffrey Kirkpatrick were stolen during a robbery at his beloved nightclub, CCHQ (Classic Corner Headquarters), in Fishers’ Hill. Then in a strange twist of fate, the ashes were discovered on a wall outside the Victoria Court flats, on the corner of Main and Scorpia roads, Fishers’ Hill.
