Hot temperatures continue into the weekend
30 - 60 per cent chance of rain this weekend.
The South African Weather Service is warning residents of Gauteng to prepare more hot weather.
It is reported that persistent high temperatures (medium to high 30s) are expected to continue till next week, bringing with them high levels of discomfort.
In addition to hot temperatures the weather service has warned of:
- Severe Thunderstorms:
Severe thunderstorms with the possibility of large hail and damaging winds, in places over the West Rand district of Gauteng today.
- Veld Fire Conditions:
Potential veld fires due to the high temperatures.
